Buying a Home - HOMES AND LOTS NOW AVAILABLE

You have the option of buying your own lot and using the builder of your choice or buying your lot directly from one of the exclusive Galway builders.

If you decide to buy your own lot, you will need to meet with a Galway Sales Associate to determine lot availability. It helps if you have a plan in mind when choosing the lot for your new home. If you don’t already have a design, we can provide you with one of our Galway stock plans or you can work with a home designer to create a layout that works best for you and your family.

Once you’ve chosen your lot, you will be asked to sign an Agreement of Purchase and Sale, and provide a lot deposit. Within 60 days of signing the Agreement, you will need to complete your purchase and close on the lot.

If you choose to work with one of the Galway builders, you should meet with them and their sales team directly.

Lot Map & Price List

Phase one offers 50’ wide and 42’ wide lots with a pre-graded and engineered building pad to fit your new home. We pre-grade every lot so you won’t be surprised by any unforeseen excavation costs and to help ensure that your home build remains on budget

Unlike other subdivisions, there will be a limited number of lots available for purchase by individuals directly without needing to go through one of our builders. So whether you want to build it yourself, hire another company, or just reserve your lot – you’ll find the perfect home in Galway.

Benefits of a New Home

While older homes can have character and charm, they can also be full of surprises. But you can avoid the cost of unexpected repairs and outdated building standards by narrowing the search for your next home to new properties.

Unlike older properties, new homes must adhere to far higher standards and stricter building codes. Using only the most innovative and energy efficient materials, new homes consume less energy, require less maintenance, and offer both improved air quality and better fire prevention.

Aesthetics have changed a lot too. Builders have abandoned enclosed kitchens, formal dining rooms, and plans with a single bathroom. These dated features have been traded in for open concept living space, multiple bathrooms, and strategic door/window placement allowing for maximum natural light.

Along with outdated layouts, the majority of older homes lack the sophisticated wiring that’s required for internet, cable, and security systems. Upgrading an older home to include these modern-day features can be extremely expensive and can lead to greater structural problems.

With so many options in the housing market to choose from, it’s important to do your research before committing to a property. Understanding the maintenance requirements can help you better financially prepare for the responsibility of buying an older home. But if you’re looking for the best bang for your buck with minimal update requirements and an overall healthier home for your family – nothing compares to the purchase of a new home.
